| Resort Guchevo |
 Ever developing tourism services continue to go upward at our mountain resort named "Guchevo". Even tough it has been
operating for almost four years, the resort has gained a widely known reputation. It occupies enviable high position on
tourism market as it is recognized by major tourist organizations due to facilities suitable for school-age children and
recreation activities. More and more tourists visit resort facilities day in and day out because of the upkeep of quality
in accommodation, nutrition, the level of recreational activities and health care.
Resort "Guchevo" is located on the mountain with the same name, on the altitude 779 meters. The resort is 8 kilometers away
from the spa "Kovilyacha" and 18 kilometers away from the town of Loznica. The vicinity of urban areas such as Belgrade
(which is 137 km away), Novi Sad (130 km away) and Valjevo (76 km away) makes the resort area especially convenient for
transport of younger children.
Guchevo is a woody mountain that overviews the southern part of the spa Kovilyacha. It is rich with cold, pure, potable
water springs. Streams from the springs flow between tall beech tree, hornbeams, oaks, black pines and acacia (locust
tree) forests.
There is a memorial grave at the peak of the mountain dedicated to those who perished in 1914 when the First World War
erupted. The glade which overviews the Memorial area represents a beautiful sight on the river Drina meandering between
the two regions - Machva and Semberia.
Trshich, the birth place of reformer and great man of Serbian literature and culture, Vuk Stefanovich Karadzich. The
settlement is only 9 km away from the town of Loznica. Medieval monastery Tronosha is located 4 km away from the village.
The tourist attraction is rounded up with the monastery Saint Nicolas in Sokograd. The monastery is located at the borders
of three counties: Lyuboviya, Krupany and Mali Zvornik.
The resort is built in the woods replete with flora and fauna and a large ozone concentration. Thus, the resort facilities
are surrounded by deciduous and evergreen greenery on each respective side. A combination of untapped nature, pleasant
environment, kind personnel and efficient services make it an ideal setting for care-free, creative and educational
atmosphere for children that come to the mountain.
The resort consists of a couple of three-floor edifices that consist of ground floor, first floor, attic and bathroom. It
can receive up to 130 people. Accomodation complies with contemporary standards for safe and secure staying of children in
the nature and satisfies all the necessary conditions for quality recreation programs with children. The recreation
programs are adapted to lower grades.
There is an equipped classroom, TV room, big restaurant and shop at the resort. The function of the facility is facilitated
with quality service provided by recreation and health care workers and the entire staff serving 24 hours a day.
Nutrition is adapted to the needs of growing children. There are three meals per day and bagging.
There are benches, tables, rockers, swings, sport fields and a cable-car around the resort edifice. All these are suitable for a prolonged walks in nature outside the resort buildings.
